Extended Care After-School Program

An on-campus extended care is offered through Santa Clara Family-Child Education Services. It provides a safe and nurturing program for K-5, incorporating various indoor and outdoor activities under supervision by experienced staff.

Do you have kids in both the upper (3-5) and lower (k-2) grades? Wondering what to do with the younger ones during that 1/2 hour before your older students get out? 

Wondering what to do with the younger ones during that 1/2 hour before your older students get out? Or do you just need an extra 1/2 hour to get to school for pick up? Kid Care may be just what you are looking for!

Kid Care is a completely parent-run child care swap to watch younger kids from 2:30-3pm. All lower grade children are welcome to join regardless of having an older sibling. Participating parents supervise children 1 day a week (2:30-3). The other 3 days, when other participating parents are supervising your kiddos, you can pick up at 3. That’s an extra hour and a half a week that you are not sitting at school waiting!!!  Who can’t use an extra 1 & 1/2 hours?? I know I can! Kid Care is  run on the playground outside of room 6. Stop by anytime to fill out a registration form. Look for the rainbow umbrella.

On a side note: if your child is NOT in the Kid Care program, we ask that you please do not let them play on the playground in front room 6 from 2:30-3pm.  It helps us to keep track of the children that we are in charge of watching.  We greatly appreciate your cooperation!
