WO Fundraising Activities
Washington Open has several fundraising activities throughout the year.
Walk-a-Thon All grades, including parents and teachers, do participate in this fun annual event that occurs early in the school year. This event helps support PE, music, counseling, and other areas that we value in or program. Children are asked to contact family members and friends for sponsors on a per-lap or total dollar basis. We do not promote or encourage door-to-door solicitation for sponsors. Any per family/child fundraising goals communicated are goals, not obligations. Watch for the flyer announcing the event and more details. Recycling Recycling bottles and cans support community leadership activities such as Student Leaders, Student Council, and Green Teams. Scholastic Book Fairs These fairs are now held by the 4th-grade families to raise money towards their sailing adventures they embark on throughout the year. WOPFG Fundraisers Washington Open students also benefit from funds raised by the Washington Open Parent Faculty Group (WOPFG). Learn about many fundraising activities managed by WOPFG. |
