2019 Assessment Results for English Language Arts and Mathematics Now Publicly Available

On October 9, the 2019 results for the online California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP)/Smarter Balanced Assessments in English language arts/literacy and mathematics were publicly released by the California Department of Education. This is the fifth year of the computer-based tests, which use California’s challenging academic standards and ask students in grades three through eight and grade eleven to write clearly, think critically, and solve complex problems, as they will need to do in college and 21st century careers.
