After-School Enrichment Programs offered through School or Parent-Faculty Board

We are lucky to have so many talented parents at our School. Our art program is led by Julie Greenwood.  Artwork is displayed in the hallway behind the main office. Children are exposed to a variety of mediums and techniques and are introduced to famous artists and art theory. There is Annual Art show at the end of each year.

Washington Open offers instrumental classes beginning in 3rd grade. This program is led by Linda Kost.

3rd graders start with recorders. In 4th & 5th grade, students can choose which instrument they would like to learn.

There is a band performance towards the end of the year.

The chorus program directed by our music director, Maureen Driggs runs from September through December each year and again from February through May. The classes are available for 2nd thru 5th grades.

Students have the opportunity to participate in a Holiday Concert, Spring Sing, a Multi School Performance as well as concerts at the school and Barnes and Nobles.

Every Wednesday morning grades K-3rd come together for sing-alongs as a whole community. 4th & 5th graders join in 1-2 times a month.
